What does it mean to be a part of a community? how do brands effectively fit in? and how do you fit in?
The 2nd meetup of the Meetupistiot will focus on the power of community - how it forms, what problems it brings up and what it solves, how communities help individuals and businesses alike. Helen Keller once said: "“Alone, we can do so little; together, we can do so much”, and we couldn't agree more.
18:30 - 19:00 - Coffee and Snacks
19:00 - 19:20- Opening words about communities by our host company Elevation (formerly known as Elevation Academy)
19:20 - 19:40 - Dana Sinay - Founder of MaManhattan
A community for Israeli mothers in NYC. In May 2014 my family and I arrived in NY. I identified a need for a strong and dependable community for Israeli mothers who live in NY and often do not have their extended family near them. I wanted to create the 'village' that it takes to raise a family in the city.
