Cape Town: Open Source Circular Economy days

OSCE Days Cape Town is a free event opened to the public. This is an opportunity for sustainably-minded and sustainably-hearted change agents to come out and share your knowledge with others around the globe to build a better society.

Event Themes

Stop Reset Go and Institute of Future Living are launching three permanent, year-round circular programs at this year’s OSCE Days. Come share your ideas and help build your community at our Open Idea Jams under one of these broad themes:

  • 10 June – OpenC – Use open data and open source approach to implementing Industrial Symbiosis across the city
  • 11 June – Open Source Circular ecohome – Help us build our open source, circular ecohome, with all successful designs open sourced and candidate for local manufacturing
  • 12 June – Hack-the-Shack – Calling all shack-tivists to join us think outside the box with circular techniques to address the shack and slum problem of the planet
  • 13 June – Circular Thinking outside a Square Box – Open Source, Circular Economy, Local Economies, Global Design Commons

Help us seed new open source design projects to work on for the rest of the year.
