Lanterns for Peace: Decorating and Finishing Lanterns

Join the Multicultural Council of Tasmania for a free community workshop in lantern design!

As part of Refugee Week 2017 celebrations, the Multicultural Council invites you to help create and decorate large floating lanterns that will be floated during Refugee Week on June 24th.

In this workshop participants will decorate lanterns and finish lanterns created during the first workshop. Under the supervision of a professional lantern maker, you will glue paper to lanterns and decorate them with patterns. This is a family friendly event, and recommended for kids from the age of 7 up.

For more information on Workshop 1 visit ourĀ events calendar!

Snacks will be provided on the day. Places are limited and registration is essential.
