The sixth Belper Goes Green Eco-Festival returns on Friday 1st to Sunday 3rd of June at the Rugby Club, Strutts Playing Field, Belper.
Belper Goes Green, organised by Transition Belper, is an eco-festival that aims to share simpler, low carbon and environmentally friendly ways of doing things in a relaxed and uplifting way that showcases the best our community has to offer.
Over the weekend there will be 2 stages of diverse live entertainment, a CAMRA Beer Festival with large selection of real ales, hot and cold food (including plenty of delicious veggie options), toys and activities to keep the little ones happy and many crafts and community art projects to get involved with.
In addition to this we have energy and low carbon travel advice, craft and recycling stalls, a whole range of campaign groups, charities and for those seeking to relax and find peace we have a large health and wellbeing area.
Organiser Mark Creed said: “BGG is a free, inclusive event for the whole family that offers simple solutions to living a more environmentally conscious lifestyle."Belper Goes Green is a free, inclusive event for the whole family that offers simple solutions to living a more environmentally conscious lifestyle.”
