Sustainability Picknick @GIZ

The "Sustainability Picknick" is a new series of peer to peer exchanges between colleagues at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH. Many people spend half the time they´re awake at work, so this is were the debate on sustainability and Sharing also need to happen. Every two weeks at lunchtime, one or two staff members active in a local initiative will share their experiences with other colleaguesover a potluck picknick in our urban garden. We´ll start with a series on food and agriculture,  with inputs on Foodsharing on June 1st, the new FoodAssembly on the 22nd, and more inputs on Community-Supported Agriculture (SoLaWi) in July.  If you work at GIZ,  just come along and bring some food to share and maybe a blanket to sit on and of cpurse also any colleague interested in the Sharing Economy. As this is a peer to peer, colleague to colleague exchange at our company, we´d prefer not to have external guests, at least at the beginning. But I´d be happy to share our experience if you´re interested to set up a similar event in your workplace!
